Youth Venture Knows When to Start Social Entrepreneurship

youthventure I talked with the mid-Atlantic director of Youth Venture, Sarah Soloman, the other week and discovered what an awesome concept this organization is. Part of the Ashoka umbrella of organizations its mission is to offer startup support for young people who want to solve social problems in their community. Youth Venture embodies the simple wisdom that if people get used to taking initiative on these issues when they are in their teens then they are far more likely to carry that initiative into adulthood.
