When Heaven Invades Earth

1. Briefly write what the whole book is about and why the author has written it. When Heaven Invades Earth covers the Biblical and historical understanding  of signs and wonders, the supernatural in every day life and includes modern day anecdotes to reinforce that this message is for TODAY . Bill trusts the reader to see that miracles are their God given present mission, that correctly seeing who we are in Christ combined with risk taking naturally produces these God encounters. Bill Johnson wrote this book so that when I walk out all these signs and wonders in my life I will be empowered by the Biblical foundation of present day miracles.  I will know that I am a new creation in Christ, a son of the Most High God, and that supernatural royalty includes supernatural authority to fulfill the Great Commission, and I will know Who I am drawing people to as I release his presence via miracles.  Bill is also is teaching me  deeper repentence for new breakthrough, ...

Finally Relay Rides is available in Los Angeles

Hey Darian, Yes, RelayRides is now nationwide. This means car owners in any state of the union can list their cars for rent on RelayRides.com And people who need a ride—from Saint Augustine to Anchorage—can rent cars, trucks and even luxury vehicles, from local owners. And we'd love to have you and your car  join the community . WE LISTENED, AND IMPROVED Our current car owners average over $200 per month while helping their neighbors and greening their communities. But it gets better. We've made major enhancements; you still set your own rates and availability, but now you get to select exactly who rents your car. It truly is a more-the-merrier movement. So please, spread the word; post to your  Facebook  friends, email your coworkers and  Tweet  your car-owning colleagues. Or...

A few things I've learned at Bethel.

After being here for a whole two months I realized it was time log everything I learned about while soaking in the Bethel community. Each of these could probably be a book. But I wanted to at least make them available online. Bethel has ties to Heroes of the Nation, a pro-microenterprise orphanage in Kenya. You need to worship God in the deepest part of your valley, the dark moments of pain, loss, confusion.  You will not get to give God that gift when you are in Heaven.  -Bill Johnson in the civic center in redding. David was really bad at confronting his own children and family.  He overreacted to how he felt confronted by his spiritual authority. You don’t make good, Godly decisions by reacting to evil.  You make them by pursuing God. The constitution of your community is more important than the fervency of your prayers. Matt 18:15.  - Lou Engle during the OneThing conference. We must have air supremacy over the Enemy through extended fasting.  - L...

Bethel is even cooler than expected

Within 90 minutes of landing in Redding, I learned of Bethel students engaged in business solutions to extreme poverty. Monday I heard a powerful teaching from Bill Johnson on how life on Earth offers us the only chance to worship God in the midst of our pain, suffering, loss, and confusion.  When we are in heaven we won't have the chance to give God that gift.  Bill's teaching reaffirmed this ongoing theme that suffering matters.  Suffering creeps me out but I can not deny that suffering somehow leads to intimacy with Christ. Monday night gave me a few a hours to meet a great house church where blue collar types mingled with Bethel alum. Prophecy and healing flowed amidst their faith and love.  God gave me a chance to pray for healing for one of the guys. This tested my faith when his knee actually got a little worse in the first couple of minutes of prayer. That hurt my pride.  Fortunately during the second bout of prayer his knee healed completely.  V...
